The Grenchen based contract coating centre has been in existence since the beginning of the 90s. We use state-of-the-art PLATIT coating machines and offer the full range of Platit PVD hard coatings.
The coating of surfaces is a long-standing tradition at Blösch. It was back in 1947 that Walter Blösch began developing a special gold plating for jewellery and watches. The sheer superiority of this plating revolutionised the industry.
Blösch has been using vacuum technology since the 1970s to produce high-precision metallic and optical coatings. We respond to the changing market requirements with cutting-edge processes and continuous developments and improvements in pretreating, cleaning, handling and finishing.
Our coatings are applied in a vacuum furnace using arc PVD processes.
We coat microtools, but we also coat large tools with diameters of up to 600 mm. It is important to note that the steel which is to be coated should have a tempering temperature of about 500-550°C. Low-temperature processes can be offered on an optional basis for individual coatings.
We offer the full range of services on request: coating removal, pretreatment and finishing (blasting, polishing, brushing).
We also have our own pickup and drop-off service.
