About us

"Carbide cutting tools are our passion, small dimensions our speciality and hard to machine materials our challenge". This is the credo of Mikron Tool employees whose everyday llife is made of innovation and quality.

Created from a department of the rotary machine constructor Mikron, Mikron Tool has been working as an independant company since 1998. Started with 25 collaborators, the company counts today 245 employees being an international reality with headquarter in Switzerland, a second production plant in Germany and sales locations in USA and China. One of the strengths is the development and production of customized cutting tools in a diameter range from 0.1 to 32 mm for centering, drilling, milling, reaming, deburring, turning as well as combined tools. Part of the success is also the standardized CrazyTool line, available from stock in diameters from 0.1 to 8 mm and specialized on tools for hard to machine materials such as stainless steel, superalloys (Inconel, Hastelloy...), CrCo-alloys and titanium.
