One of our customers, for a period of time, had the need to have spare parts within 72 hours from the order. It was challenging and motivating to understand how to exploit our resources to satisfy it.
Since these spare parts usually were unique pieces, it was necessary to start racing just to find the material.
Another aspect was to contain the costs, higher than a standard production, but still acceptable to the customer.
